how we work
Communications thrive on the big idea. Fortunately, we’ve come up with a few and been rewarded along the
way by seeing effective results for our clients – and the odd award for ourselves. There’s no secret formula to
how we work other than we like to work with clients who have a passion for their business and want to see it
moved forward. We’re not into pretentious chat – down-to-earth relationships are more our style. We believe
in keeping things simple however big or small the project. You'll deal directly with the creatives, so you'll see
us being creative with your business, not our budget. It seems to appeal as most of our clients have been
with us from our early days or have come on board via word of mouth. In five years our impressive client
list is now an attractive shade of blue chip. So we know we're doing something right.
Our approach to every project is broken down into four phases.
-
We believe you can’t produce a satisfactory solution without fully understanding the client, their business,
their market and their competition. We take the time to go into what makes a client’s business tick whether we’re
tackling a complete branding project or simply creating a piece of literature to support your brand.
-
With refined down, background knowledge in place we have a framework for the project in hand. Add to this
creative and strategic thinking, and we can start unearthing distinctive ideas that will meet the goals set out in the
pre-agreed brief.
-
Great ideas spring from the right information, the right conditions – and the right mindset. We encourage a freedom
of thought that allows us to be more inventive – to come up with creative answers. Sometimes the solutions are rather
different from what either we or the client expected when the job was first discussed. But that’s how big ideas work.
-
The process is always ongoing. Every stage is carefully monitored, managed and assessed. It’s not just about us
creating striking, effective work but also providing the guidelines and support tools to fulfil its potential. This control also
applies to costs and working to set budgets. We keep a tight grip on the whole package from start to finish.
