Let's take a look through the brand window…

On a recent trip to Paris I saw a great example of brand placement. On a visit to Saint Chapelle my better half wondered what I’d seen in that tourist trap that pleased me more than any of the others we’d visited that weekend – it was the picture above. I couldn’t help but smile – and doff my metaphorical hat at the brand management team at Velux for getting in on the act. Sure, it’s costing almost 5 Million Euros, but they get to say they’ve helped restore a really great visual spectacle and expose their brand to over 800,000 visitors a year – but more than that, it’s just a really nice fit, and a great example of brands thinking differently.
