Digital Marketing Executive
Salary Range: £26,000-£28,000 dependent upon experience.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, based in the Studio in Newcastle upon Tyne. 33 days holiday per annum plus training and CPD budget
We are currently looking for a Digital Marketing Exec to join our team.
We’re a fast-paced creative agency working out of our studio at St Peters Basin, Newcastle. We produce brand communications and creative campaigns across various sectors from hospitality to finance, manufacturing to automotive.
In this role, you’ll be working alongside strategists, content writers, designers and animators to help activate integrated campaigns, launch brands and build outstanding communications for all of our clients.
As our Digital Marketing Executive, you’ll help our clients to gain greater visibility online, engage their audiences and help to generate a good quality pipeline. Planning and activating digital marketing strategies on behalf of our clients across multiple channels.
Building, scheduling, testing and reporting for email campaigns (newsletters, sales campaigns & more), and conducting a/b tests where appropriate.
Launching, monitoring and managing organic and paid campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google AdWords, including testing and budget management.
Ensuring content, production and output across all digital platforms including website, social media, paid media and third-party listings and content is consistent and on brand.
Carrying out routine website reviews to ensure that the website conforms to up to date standards based on SEO best practice.
Developing and executing SEO strategies including conducting keyword research, content development planning with content writers, reporting and competitor analysis.
Tracking, measuring and reporting on performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assessing against clients goals.
Researching and recommending to clients new ideas for content to activate through digital mediums.
Essential skills and experience:
2-3 years digital marketing experience (preferably in an agency environment) and strong knowledge of digital channels including paid and organic social, Google Ads, SEO and email marketing.
Solid knowledge of website analytics tools including Google Analytics and Tag Manager.
Experience in creating, editing, and developing content for digital and social platforms.
Thrives in a fast-paced working environment with the ability to work across multiple projects and clients at once.
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
Proven ability to be highly self-motivated and work effectively as part of a team as well as autonomously.
Excellent time management, organisation skills, and attention to detail.
Analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
Experience of marketing automation systems.
