Pearson Engineering is amongst the best in the world at overcoming defence and security mobility challenges. But defining their brand was an obstacle for them. Having traded successfully for over 30 years in the defence sector, they asked for our help when rolling out their expertise to the security sector and adding other services. We worked with Pearson Engineering’s internal marketing department to get a full understanding of the challenge; we visited their headquarters, attended global defence exhibitions and interviewed stakeholders and employees, working hard to find out what makes them special. Afterwards, we worked with them to identify some building blocks for a new positioning model. We helped name their internal divisions which let them clarify their sales offering and we wrapped all of the communications up with a more modern look and feel that worked hard to include the heritage of the existing brand mark.
